In the Spring of 2015 Inger Loftheim joined Laney’s Old Village Paint as Chief Marketing Officer and became the sixth generation of her family to serve in managing the business.
Ms. Loftheim grew up overseas as her father served in the United States Army. After earning a business degree at Stetson University in Florida, she spent 19 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, now Florida Blue. At Florida Blue Ms. Loftheim worked in marketing and sales, eventually working directly with the CEO and executive team in building business strategy.
When asked how it felt to be a sixth generation Laney’s Old Village Paint business leader, Ms. Loftheim responded:
“It’s amazing. There’s a lot of pride in it. This business, it’s our name. Through our paint, we deliver a high quality product, because this is the livelihood of our family and that translates into how you deliver it. From generation to generation this business is what has supported our family.”
Aside from excitement, commitment to an excellent product and many family memories, Ms. Loftheim brings 19 years of business experience to Laney’s Old Village Paint, and looks forward to building on the company’s deep foundations of history and customer service.
“We’re going to stick to the core of who we are, but also remain flexible enough to adapt to the needs of our customers and the changing market. But we’ve been doing that for 200 years, or we wouldn’t have lasted this long!” Ms. Loftheim explains.
“I’m delighted to welcome Inger to the team, we’ve all been dreaming about this for many years. She is going to be a wonderful asset to Old Village and to our amazing customers.” Laney Landis, President, Owner of Laney’s Old Village Paint.
